Just after 0100 hours on January 4th, Engine 83 and other units responded for a house fire at 1005 Capitol Heights Blvd. in Company 5's area. Units arrived on the scene to find a working fire involving a rear bedroom. Engine 51 stretched an attack line and Engine 83 ran a back up line. The fire was quickly extinguished and overhaul and searches were performed by the special services. Engine 83 cleared in a little over an hour.
