Early this morning Rescue Squad 8 and surrounding companies were dispatched for an apartment fire at 3215 Swann Rd in Silver Hill. Rescue Squad 8 arrived on scene just after Engine 294 to find a working fire in an apartment. Squad 8 performed a search, ventilated and checked for extension. The fire was quickly knocked down and contained to the rear bedroom. Rescue Squad 8 cleared the scene in just over an hour.
