I would like to express my sincere appreciation of the volunteers of Squad 8. This is one of the most committed, gifted and talented group of men and women who serve the residents and citizens of Seat Pleasant and the greater community.Our community is PROUD of the volunteers and what they do for us. They respond when they are called and they do so with professionalism and pride.As one of the busiest squads in the entire nation; their duty and commitment is with distinction and honor. They ARE volunteers! They are not paid for what they do. They spend their own money and resources to help make our community safe and address emergencies without regard to accolades.Therefore, as we recognize first responders all over in wake of the 9/11 10 year anniversary I salute the Seat Pleasant Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. (Squad #8)!Thank you for all you have done, are doing and will do in the future. God bless you and God Bless A City of Excellence! |
