Friday, January 20, 2012 AT 1559 hours Engine 82 was alerted to 7205 Mount Forest Terr, in Company 23's area, for a house on fire.  E26 arrived to find heavy fire conditions and advanced a line.  Engine 82 arrived soon after and picked up E27's line and made up and advanced a 500 foot line to the rear of the house.  About that time, command pulled everyone out for exterior operations and to regroup.  Having the only line in the rear, the crew from 8 continued extinguishing fire until it was knocked down and crews were sent in to mop up. The crew was sent in to assist with overhaul and hit hot spots. Engine 82 picked up and returned in about 2 hours.
