Saturday, January 21, 2012 Just after 1630 hours Engine 83 was alerted to 512 Brightseat Rd, in Company 46's area, for a house fire.  E37 arrived to find smoke showing from the attic and advanced a line.  Engine 83 arrived and laid a secondary line from Congress Pl and ran the 250 off the rear as a back up line.  The crew assisted with ventilation efforts as crews worked to control the fire in the attic.  The fire was extinguished and the assignment scaled back.  Engine 83 picked up and returned to service in about 45 minutes.
