Monday, May 28, 2012  As the Memorial Day weekend continued, Engine 8 was alerted to the Z pool at 190 Dateleaf Ave, in Carmody Hills, for a report of a drowning. The engine crew arrived to find an adult female who suffered a medical emergency and went under water and had to be pulled from the pool. The patient was conscious, evaluated, and taken to a local hospital by EMS. The quick actions of the on duty lifeguard clearly made a difference. Engine 8 cleared a short time later.
