Thursday, June 14, 2012 Around 2225 hours Engine 82 was alerted to Central Ave & East Capitol St, in Seat Pleasant, for a motorcycle accident.  While enroute, the address was updated to East Capitol St & Coolidge St and now witnesses were reporting one not breathing.  The crew from 8 arrived and found the same with the rider suffering massive injuries and not breathing.  The crew began CPR as they waited for EMS units.  The patient was quickly loaded into PA38 and taken to a local trauma center along with M26 where he died from his injuries.  Engine 82 picked up and returned to service in about 30 minutes only to return a few hours later after the investigation for a wash down.
